scholarships and academic awards

Each year, Chevron provides several scholarships to students in Process Technology programs at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. The program educates and prepares students with the technical skills required for employment in the field of Process Operations Technology, Instrumentation and Control Technology, Precision Manufacturing and Machining Technology, Mechanical Maintenance Technology, Welding Technology and Marine Pipefitting Technology .

Chevron annually awards scholarships to 20 qualifying students enrolled in the Mississippi State University College of Engineering. Students must be enrolled in the chemical, civil, electrical, mechanical, or petroleum engineering program, have a 3.0 GPA, demonstrate need, and be classified as a permanent U.S. resident. MSU manages the selection and distribution of the scholarship funds.
