MGCCC process technology program
Each year, Chevron provides several scholarships to students in Process Technology programs at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. The program educates and prepares students with the technical skills required for employment in the field of Process Operations Technology, Instrumentation and Control Technology, Precision Manufacturing and Machining Technology, Mechanical Maintenance Technology, Welding Technology and Marine Pipefitting Technology .
explosion of excellence scholarships
Sponsored by the Jackson County and Ocean Springs Chambers of Commerce, the annual Explosion of Excellence program honors the top ten percent of all high school seniors in Jackson County. Each student is presented a $250 scholarship during an awards gala held at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Chevron annually funds 16 Explosion of Excellence scholarships.

pascagoula black history awareness scholarship
The Chevron Pascagoula Black History Awareness Committee will award scholarships to three deserving high school seniors attending Moss Point High School. All applicants must have an overall minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, plan to attend a 4 year college or university in the next academic school year, and submit a completed scholarship application. Three essays are required, as well as a letter of recommendation from a teacher/counselor.
