Doing Business with the Refinery

Doing Business with Us

In 2009, Chevron Pascagoula Refinery spent more than $240 million for materials and services provided by businesses in Jackson County.

The Pascagoula Refinery continues to look to businesses in Jackson County and the Gulf Coast area to provide competitively priced materials and services that meet the refinery’s quality, safety and reliability standards.

We regularly require materials and services that range from piping and hoses to specialty chemicals and supplemental contract labor. Electrical, insulation and environmental service providers are among the many whose valuable services support the refinery’s day-to-day operations.

Supporting Local Business

One way the refinery helps support local businesses is through active membership and participation in the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce.

Chevron Business Development Specialist Trudi Dixon serves as Chairman of the Chamber's Small Business Issue Management Group. The Refinery Procurement team encourages material and service providers to join and participate in the Chamber.

Dixon also traditionally serves as committee chairman of the Jackson County Industrial Trade Show, sponsored by the Chamber's Industrial Suppliers Association. Chevron's Procurement Team coordates the refinery's participation by managing and staffing a booth at the annual event.

Supplier Diversity - Reflecting Diversity in Our Supplier Base

Chevron's Supplier Diversity / Small Business Program provides small, minority, and women-owned businesses with outreach assistance, business opportunities, and information they need to do business with Chevron. Numerous companies in our Gulf Coast area have qualified for the program and continue to work as business partners with the Pascagoula Refinery.
